Louise Cheng

Louise Cheng is an ARC Future Fellow, and the head of Stem Cell Growth Regulation laboratory at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute. Louise received her PhD at Kings College London in Developmental Biology in 2006, followed by postdoctoral training at the National Institute for Medical Research, UK, before establishing her independent laboratory at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute in 2012. Louiseā€™s lab is interested in understanding how organs communicate with each other to regulate overall size control, and how intrinsic and extrinsic signals intersect to specify neural stem cell behavior.
